Description
After meeting your tour leader at La Spezia train station, you will begin your adventure! You will take the first train to the small town of Manarola, where your intrepid trekking experience will start. Get ready to explore the ancient trails of this mountain, passing through the vineyards perched on the cliffs! Enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and the colorful houses, it will seem that you’re admiring a work of art, and we assure you that the effort will be worth it!
When you reach the top of the mountain and begin the descent towards Corniglia, you will be able to appreciate the charm of this small village at 100 meters above sea level. Explore the center of Corniglia as you walk through its narrow alleys and take a break for lunch before continuing the adventure.
After lunch, you will head towards our next destination, Vernazza, by train. This village is a perfectly-preserved marine town, the perfect place to relax while admiring the wonderful landscape. We are sure you will love it!
Finally, you will reach Riomaggiore and have some free time to walk through its beautiful narrow streets. Admire the particular constructions of Riomaggiore and the Gulf of Cinque Terre from its panoramic terrace.
Important notes
- Please arrive 10 minutes before at the meeting point
- We recommend the use of comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes to walk
- The official order of visits may be changed
- Bring your water bottle, sunscreen, and a cap
- Please note that the trails to hike are hard but not impossible. Since the beauty of the area lies in its nature, you won’t find handrails or safety rails even when the steps formed by the rocks of the mountain are inclined or when the path is near to the edge of the cliff.
- Consider that during the trekking the maximum height is 1000 ft and the climb is very steep
