My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour through Bolognia. Our guide, Ricardo, was very knowledgeable, gave us more time than we had paid for and took us to a great variety of places. From the Duomo to a speciality Bolognese cheese and meat salumeria, from the amazing University library to one of the oldest bars in Italy where they sell wine and play card games that are 400 years old. We highly recommend the tour. Nigel and Suzi
The guide that showed us around the plaza was exceptionally smart. She provided relevant information that gave life to the things that we saw around the city center. A great way to learn while having a tour around Bologna.
Easy to book at booking.com, very friendly guide and fast response chat at WhatsApp if you have any questions. Tour is about one and a half hour with explaining in different languages. You can the hole day hop on and off and take another bus back to start. Any voucher for example ice cream included
While I’m Italy for a wedding my husband and I decided to explore the Emilia region, it was a bit of a splurge but so so worth it. Our driver Antonio was kind , on time and very accommodating with our 3 young children. We came for the cheese but the balsamic was the breakout hit by far. Don’t get me wrong it was fantastic to taste 24/40/80 month aged Parmesan and the family run winery was out of a dream but the balsamic was something I had never experienced before. Italy is truly a beautiful country.
We were quite lucky, as no-one else signed in to our English language tour, so it was just us and the guide - it was exactly like a private tour! The guide was excellent and she answered very detailed to each and every question we asked, so we couldn't ask for more! A tip: it is better to do it not during the winter time, but it is great anyway though!
